Awards
SPOCE are proud to announce that P2 Passport, SPOCE's distance learning product for PRINCE2™, with Teignbridge District Council recently received a national award from the Office for the Deputy Prime Minister.
Jim Fitzpatrick MP, Minister for Local e-Government, presented the award to Teignbridge District Council "For rising to the challenge of e-innovation in local government”. The award won Best in Category – e-Learning.
Mr Fitzpatrick was particularly complementary of Passport in his speech, quoting
"The fourth and last theme in Round One is about e-learning within local government, sharing good practice and information, and making better use of e-government to help transform the services local government offers. Teignbridge District Council, for example, is developing a comprehensive PRINCE2™ distance and e-learning package. And they mean comprehensive. It includes everything from modules with lessons to practical tasks and revision tests. From voiceover narratives to a full guidance pack."
The e-Innovation programme for PRINCE2™ e-Learning has recently been completed, with the end product providing PRINCE2™ online training to a number of local authorities and not-for-profit organisations.
PRINCE2™ Passport Foundation & Practitioner Distance Learning is backed up by the SPOCE learning management system "Passport Administration System (P2PAS)". P2PAS provides clients with the facility to manage the learning programmes at User and Group level. Full tracking capability is included for reporting on progress, use and achievement. Call Clement Pereira or Paul Bradley for more information.
