Pedagogy framework

The learning content is broken down into 12 modules with a total of 115 lessons. A lesson is presented as a slide with suitable visual hooks to assist comprehension. Each lesson is further complemented by a Note (Contextual Information), Reference (references to the PRINCE2 Manual), Audio Narration (Linking up concepts), lesson quiz (comprehension/retention), task (application of concepts). Similarly additional support resources and assessment tests are available at the module level.

The Core learning content (lessons) adopt an instructivist pedagogical style of learning to introduce and build on concepts.  The learning environment complements this with notes, references, narration, tests, tasks and support materials to foster constructivist (active) learning by promoting exploration, experimentation, construction, collaboration and reflection.

Although the learning content is structured for linear progression the learners are allowed the flexibility to choose their preferred approach. Subtle progress bars remind users of the extent of progress; similarly module tests advise learners of the level of understanding vis-à-vis the module and the expected levels for certification.

Forms of Delivery

PRINCE2 Passport is available on CD ROM for installation on the end users machine as well as Web access via the internet on www.p2passport.com. Online Demo

The Web P2Passport also comes with an underlying Learning Management System (called P2PAS) to provide a managed eLearning solution.

Some of the Key Features of P2PAS are -

  • Student/Learner Administration
  • Rights Management
  • Communication Management
  • Usage / Progress Reporting

An Admin Login is normally provided to corporate clients with the rights to create subscribed number of users (licenses).

The benefit of this is that the Administrator/Training Manager/Mentor is now empowered to manage the learning by being able to monitor the progress of the learners, motivate/guide learners using the communication module, arrange additional support if required, assess readiness to take exams and MIS reporting to management using the graphical reporting engine. Online Demo of P2PAS

For large customers with more than 500 users in a given year, we recommend intranet solution, where the learning modules and the underlying learning management system are installed within the client's intranet.
