RE-REGISTRATION DETAILS
The PRINCE2 Examination Board has determined that all PRINCE2 Practitioners should be re-registered within 3-5 years of their original certification. This re-registration comprises a 1-hour examination set at the same standard as the Practitioner examination. All Practitioners who have taken the PRINCE2 Practitioner qualification since October 2000 have agreed or are agreeing to this requirement as part of their initial application and so are now designated as Registered Practitioners.
The registration has a validity of five years and Registered Practitioners will be required to take a re-registration examination to confirm their competence in the PRINCE2® Methodology before the end of the five year period.
The Re-registration exam follows the same format as the Practitioner exam but the Question Booklet contains three questions, giving a total of 36 marks available, to be answered within one hour. The pass mark is 20 (55%). Each question tests one of the syllabus areas. A maximum of one process area will be tested in each paper.The exam can be taken at a formal PRINCE2® exam venue (paper-based), or electronically (online) at your place of business or home.
PREPARING FOR THE PRINCE2 RE-REGISTRATION EXAM
Although not an APM Group requirement, SPOCE recommend that refresher training is considered as the PRINCE2® Manual has gone through three significant updates since 2002. SPOCE currently offer 4 options for Re-Registration.

Re-Reg Revision Event - £449 + P&P + VAT
This revision event will review the PRINCE2® method and help prepare for the Re-Registration Exam. Included the latest PRINCE2® Manual; a 1-day PRINCE2® Revision Event; and the Re-Registration Exam.

Re-Reg Plus - £699 + P&P + VAT
This is a combination of the Self-Study Pack and the Revision Event described above and includes the P2 Passport CD with the latest PRINCE2® Manual; a 1-day PRINCE2® Revision Event; and the Re-Registration Exam.

Re-Registration Exam only - £150 + VAT
This is just the 1-hour exam without any training provided by SPOCE. The exam can be taken either at an examination event with SPOCE, or online at your own premises.
